Hydraulic Design over Rio Guayanes

A hydrologic-hydraulic model was undertaken to analyze de effect of the proposed 4 km bridge over the floodplain of Rio Guayanes in Yabucoa. The study evaluated the impact of the new bridge in water levels along Rio Guayanes at different recurrence intervals. Results from the study were used as basis for the civil design of the structure. The firm provided recommendations regarding the hydraulic dimensions of the bridge in compliance with the Puerto Rico Planning Board Regulation #13.
